Peter Irungu

Peter is a Kenyan photographer based in Nairobi, the vibrant capital city.

His strengths lie in combining editorial,portraiture, and documentary photography, showcasing empathy and dignity in every subject he captures. Passionate about stories and human narratives, finding inspiration in the beauty,strength, and uniqueness of ordinary, everyday people.

Peter adopts a non-intrusive approach to storytelling, striving to portray his subjects authentically in their natural environments while giving them the freedom to shape and lead their own narratives.

His diverse commissions and independent clients include global organizations such as UNICEF, OXFAM, Acumen, Johanniter,Bloomberg, KLM, Forbes, The Italian, and Danish Embassies, as well as prominent local companies like Safaricom,Telkom,Burn Manufacturing, and Koko Fuels, among many more.
